Ask the Pharmacist

Q: I don’t really like the overly-strong menthol taste in some cough drops, so what can I do to help soothe my sore throat?

A: If you want a great cough drop without a strong menthol taste, try new Organix Cough and Sore Throat Drops from the makers of Cold-EEZE. Organix contains pectin and natural menthol derived from organic peppermint oil to soothe irritated sore throats, suppress coughs and cool nasal passages. While Organix Cold and Sore Throat Drops do contain menthol, they don’t have the heavy menthol/“mediciney” taste some people can’t tolerate. Instead, they are available in flavors like Dark Chocolate Mint, Purely Peppermint, Orchard Cherry and Honey Lemon so you can soothe your sore throat and ease your cough with a flavor you enjoy.
